Parkinson's, perseverance and a world record.

Two Weeks Strait tells the true story of how magician Mark Correia spent two weeks strapped inside a regulation straitjacket to raise awareness and funds for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Michael J. Fox showed personal support for the project and the stunt was a success.

Team Fox members have always brought a certain amount of magic to their events, but Escaping Parkinson’s takes it to another level. Our Foundation is grateful for Mark Correia’s creativity and sheer lunacy in helping bring us one step closer to a cure.”

Over $15,000 was raised in just fourteen days with over thirty-one million people tuning in worldwide to follow Mark’s journey, and witness his final escape on live television. Two Weeks Strait follows tells the story of his two week stunt Escaping Parkinson’s - and more importantly, sheds light on what it’s like to live with a physically restricting disease.

Mark was able to escape his straitjacket. For people living with Parkinson’s, there is still no escape. With your help, we can change that.
